The Minus 5 have covered "The Sutherland Brothers" Arms of Mary for the WFMU compilation CD "Super Hits Of the Seventies!". The only way to get this album is with a pledge of $75 or more to help support WFMU for the next year. More info on how to do that here.
The songs was recorded by Scott on December 6, 2011 at the Red Record Room in Portland, Oregon, with Peter Buck playing 12-string guitar and Scott doing everything else.

If you’ve seen the Minus 5, a Northwest supergroup of sorts that typically includes R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck, you already know that the individual in question is Scott McCaughey – one of the hardest-working and most beloved members of the Northwest music community.

The people from KEXP blog had a little chat with Steve Wynn about "The Baseball Project"(Steve Wynn, Scott McCaughey, Peter Buck, and Linda Pitmon). While there isn't a release date set for their upcoming album baseball-themed album, they can however already preview the rough mix of on of the songs, “Pasttime” which features lead vocals by Scott.
